Gas Log Sets
If you have a working fireplace and a gas line already run to it, a log set is the cheapest way to start using it again. Bring the measurements and we will match the set.
Vented or vent-free
This is the whole decision.
Both are legitimate. They solve different problems, and the wrong one in the wrong firebox is the most common mistake we correct.
Vented
Burns with the damper open. Big, realistic yellow flame. Most of the heat goes up the chimney — you are buying the look.
Vent-free
Burns clean enough to run with the damper closed, so the heat stays in the room. Smaller flame, real warmth, and a limit on room size.
Which one
If the fireplace is for atmosphere, vented. If you want the room warmer, vent-free. Tell us which and we will point you.
What to bring
Firebox measurements and your gas type.
Log sets are sized to the firebox, and a set that is too big will not burn correctly or clear the required side clearances. It is a five-minute measurement.
Natural gas and propane sets are not interchangeable. Check the meter or the tank before you come in — it saves a second trip.

Before you buy
Can I put a vent-free set in any fireplace?
No. Vent-free sets are rated by room volume and there are firebox and clearance requirements. Bring the measurements and we will tell you what is allowed.
Do gas logs need electricity?
A basic set does not — a standing pilot and a valve will run with the power out. Add a remote or a blower and you will need an outlet.
